Welcome to A&T Cabs. By using our services, including bookings, rides, and online platforms, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the provision of taxi services across Swale, Sittingbourne, Faversham, and surrounding areas. Please read them carefully before booking or travelling.

Definitions

• “Company” refers to A&T Cabs, its employees, drivers, and contractors.
• “Passenger” refers to any individual or group using A&T Cabs’ services.
• “Service” includes local taxis, long-distance trips, airport transfers, school runs, corporate bookings, and any contracted transport.
• “Booking” means any confirmed arrangement for a ride with A&T Cabs, made via phone, website, or app.

Booking and Confirmation

• Bookings can be made via phone, website, or authorised third-party apps.
• All bookings are subject to confirmation by A&T Cabs. Confirmation constitutes a legally binding contract.
• Passengers must provide accurate details, including pick-up location, destination, time, number of passengers, and luggage requirements.
• Any changes to a confirmed booking must be communicated promptly. The Company reserves the right to adjust or refuse changes.

Payments

• Fares must be paid as agreed at booking, at the end of the journey, or via authorised payment methods.
• A&T Cabs accepts cash, credit/debit cards, and other authorised payment systems.
• Passengers agree to pay the full fare including any additional charges for tolls, parking, or delays beyond the Company’s control.
• Non-payment or fraudulent payment attempts may result in legal action.

Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellations must be notified in advance. Fees may apply if a booking is cancelled late.
• Refunds are at the discretion of A&T Cabs and will be processed according to the original payment method.
• The Company reserves the right to cancel any booking due to driver unavailability, severe weather, or other safety concerns, providing a full refund where applicable.

Passenger Responsibilities

• Passengers must act respectfully towards drivers and other passengers. Aggressive or abusive behaviour is not tolerated.
• Passengers are responsible for ensuring all personal belongings are taken at the end of the journey.
• A&T Cabs is not liable for lost items unless negligence is proven.
• Passengers must comply with seat belt laws and health and safety requirements during travel.
• Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless prior arrangements have been approved.

Driver Responsibilities

• Drivers are licensed, trained, and insured, providing professional and safe transport at all times.
• Drivers must comply with UK road traffic laws, licensing requirements, and company policies.
• Drivers will provide reasonable assistance with luggage and boarding where necessary.

Liability

• A&T Cabs holds public liability and motor insurance as required under UK law.
• The Company is not liable for delays caused by traffic, roadworks, adverse weather, or acts outside its control.
• Passenger property is transported at the passenger’s own risk unless negligence can be demonstrated.

Service Limitations

• The Company reserves the right to refuse service to passengers under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who pose a safety risk.
• Pets and animals are allowed only with prior agreement. Service animals are always permitted.
• The Company may refuse to carry hazardous, illegal, or offensive items.

Complaints

• Complaints should be submitted via phone, email, or written correspondence within 7 days of the journey.
• A&T Cabs will investigate complaints promptly and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
• Resolution may include apology, refund, or corrective action depending on the complaint.

Data Protection

• Passenger data is collected and processed in accordance with UK GDPR regulations.
• Data is used for booking management, payment processing, service improvement, and legal compliance.
• We do not sell or share personal data for marketing without consent.

Changes to Terms

• A&T Cabs reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
• Changes will be published on our website and take effect immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
